The Aitana Forest was once undiscovered land where no one dared to enter for fear of the unknown dangers it held. That is until a knight decided to test his luck and disturb the peace. With the perils of the forest partially unlocked and the curiosity of explorers peaked, it is now known world wide for being the biggest, creepiest and most dangerous places in existance. Many have gone into the forest but few have made it out alive. From the outside it looks dark and endless. Just the sight of it alone makes people uncomfortable, yet people still head into the forest due to the rumours of a possible castle within it. Many are unbelieving of this but the greedy always try. The ones who've made it out have said countless unexplainable things. Tales of monsters and creatures and things no one has ever seen before. Being rushed to medics or pegged as crazy. It's easy to say once you go in you belong to the woods.

This will be no simple series. You're about to witness just a few of the many different challenges people have faced as they traveled through the Aitana forest. These are only a few short stories the forest has to tell us of brave, weak, independent people.

After uncovering a sinister ritual in an abandoned factory, Jay and his friends are the only hope to save their small town from the supernatural forces brewing there. Season 1 of Mezzanine ***** When Jay moves to Sycamore Falls at the beginning of his senior year of high school, the last thing he expects is suddenly developing the ability to read minds. As if knowing everyone's darkest thoughts isn't bad enough, things get worse when Jay finds a group of cloaked figures-seemingly brainwashed-taking part in a strange ritual within an abandoned factory at the edge of town. Along with Carter, his only friend, and Lola, the mysterious girl he can't help but be drawn to, Jay investigates. As the group unravels the secrets of the factory and their town, they find themselves in danger from the sinister supernatural forces that might have been best left undisturbed forever.
