During the brief break in their struggle, Yennefer asks Geralt to help her find a djinn on a broken ship that had disappeared around Skellige Isles. After all these years, she wishes to finally know for sure whether their love was real. It does not go according to plan, for one should never trust an enraged djinn. Meanwhile, The Wild Hunt is hot on Ciri's trail and it turns into a race against time to prevent them from taking over the Continent and capturing Ciri. When war breaks out between neighboring kingdoms, Jaskier's father uses his true name and commands him to marry a witcher as part of a peace treaty.
