Kai is not the master of fire. He us the master of water. But, Kai is not the one that we all know. He was abused as a child by his and Nya's dad. Ray tried forcing Kai to be the master of fire but, Kai had long ago found his power.
Bound to a wheelchair, Kai only trusts Nya to be around hem. His trust isn't easy to gain, and, one wrong move can send hem to regress.
Join Kai as he learns to face the past and open up. To live and trust once more.

Heart attack (Kai x reader)
Another master of gems fanfic, but different universe. This is inspired by the song 'heart attack'. Ever since y/n was young, she could charm most anyone. She was known as the gem of her town, and a stealer of hearts. How many were intentional or not, nobody but her would know. People around her would bend over backwards to do things for her if she asked a certain way. But when Wu recruited her to be a ninja, she finally found people who she could just be herself with. But despite her reputation as a heart stealer, it seems the tables have turned. The master of fire has stolen hers.
Sick to Insanity
Kai gets sick, and even though he is the master of fire, a fever drastically overcomes him. Causing headaches, and outburst of fire, it's not any normal illness. What happens then? Will his mind get warped from all this? Who will find him first? Someone takes advantage of this and will do everything to get what they want, but who's leading them? __This does have some Lavashipping towards the end, so please be aware of that if it makes you uncomftorable. __This also goes off the script a bit from the fever, just focusing on aftermaths.
