"S-Sohara.."I said quietly. She looked so small and frail. As if she was ready to break.

"I'm sorry, Rose. I didn't want to do it. But if I didn't, they would have killed you. They threatened to wipe out the entire Guardian race and make you first. I couldn't let them, I just couldn't..I.." Tears were falling down her face and she covered up her face with her hands. She fell to her knees. 

I landed and walked over to her. I knelt down and wrapped my arms around her. I let my wings wrap us both up, letting it just be us two. I pulled her close. She seemed surprised but she buried face into my shoulder. 

"Don't ever try to protect me again." I said. My eyes were squeezed shut and I had tears falling but I didn't sob. I bared my teeth.

"Rose..." She whispered. I just held her closer eyes and rested my chin on her shoulder.

"I don't care what they say, they can wipe out the entire human race for all I care, but don't you ever try to protect me again. Got that?"All Rights Reserved

And when the autobots find her again, she finds a new friend within the autobot who came to her by chance when she bought herself a new car. Even Optimus will feel his wall fall away slowly the more time is spent with this girl. And he learns there is more to humans than meets the eye. And when a darker threat reveals itself in a way they never though possible, and a possible way back to Cybertron, Optimus sees the courage in this girl even more. Especially when she finds herself wanting to help them get back home. Something he finds himself surprised that she is willing to help him. It is as if something has changed, and he did not know why or how that is possible. And soon enough, his cold exterior may have just fallen away. Or could his processor be mistaken?
