Sa planetang Arcadius, taong 2500, ang 'di makakalimutang taon kung kailan sumiklab ang unang digmaan sa pagitan ng mga Arcadians laban sa mga nilalang na nagmula sa ibang dimensyon na kanilang binansagan bilang evil ones.


Exceed ang tawag sa dimensyon kung saan nakatira ang mga Deviants. Sila ang mga nilalang na kilala bilang conquerors of dimension. Nagpadala sila ng mga Aeions; ang mga halimaw na siyang kilala bilang man eater. Ito rin ang simula ng pananakop nila sa mundo ng Arcadius ngunit 'di nila inaasahan ang pagiging resistant ng napiling dimensyon.  Lalo na't lumitaw ang military soldiers o tinatawag na Zoix warriors na siyang malaking balakid sa plano nila upang tuluyang masakop ang nasabing planeta.


At isa na roon, si Ruka Almerah Drios. Ang kinakatakutan ng mga deviant na destroyer at siya rin ang babaeng nakatakdang tatapos sa lahi ng mga conquerors at wawasak sa Exceed.
