I never thought true love exists. I never believed in love. I would fall in love with someone then later have my heartbroken. It was February 1997 when I moved from the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho to South Africa to stay with my mother and to pursue my studies. I had one goal in mind, 'focuse on my studies only.' One good Friday as the school was over for the weekend, my friends and I decided to walk to the township. As we were approaching the school gate my eyes came into contact with the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on. And she looked back at me as she smiled with great anticipation. I winked at her and she winked back. At that moment everything around us disappeared. I knew right there and then that I had found a 'rib of my ribs.' I said to her," hi.' And she responded with a very shy voice, "Hi." That was the best moment ever. I went to Lesotho for a weekend to see my grandma and the rest of the family but my heart was in South Africa. I went to see my friend. "I'm in love bra. I met this Angel man. She blew my mind. Now we are a couple." I said claiming love. My friend said anxiously," Wow that's great man. when are we gonna see her?" I said without thinking," I'm gonna marry her bra." The weekend came to an end and I went back to South Africa. I looked for her at school but I couldn't find her. The following day we met on the sports ground. We talked and things seemed to be promising. She was still involved with another guy. I couldn't give up but had to slow down the chase a bit. Two years passed and we both went to Pretoria to further our studies. I didn't know that she was also in Pretoria. After two weeks of the first trimester, we bumped into each other. Man I was happy all over again and we both took a taxi to town together. I showed her around and we went to my flat. We finally became a couple. We got married in 2007 and ever since our love grew stronger. We have been blessed with three kids. Thank you Jesus. By DT Sefako
