As I sense something closing in, I break into a frantic sprint. My vision blurs, my chest tightens, and every breath burns. I can't stop; pure terror propels me forward. Whatever is hunting me is getting closer, but I can't see it. My lungs scream for air, and my legs turn to lead. Stumbling, my vision slowly darkens. Just as I think I can't go on, I see a version of myself ahead, stumbling in the pitch darkness, reaching out for help. I try to move, to help, but I'm paralyzed. Suddenly, a sharp, excruciating pain pierces my flesh. I feel it too and hear my own voice cry out, 'It's painful... HELP ME!' I watch in horror as the other me's eyes bleed. Gasping in terror, I close my eyes tightly, consumed by fear.
