     "But I'm safe with Jax," I protested.
     "I know some of the things he's done," he growled. "He's not as trustworthy as you make him out to be."
     "Wait," I put a hand up, stopping him with interest. "What has he done?"
     "Unforgivable things... Bad things are going to happen! They're lying to you. All of them. You can't trust anyone."

~ I got up more carefully and ran looked around the room for an adjoining bathroom.
