The harrowing silence was something that Ink was used to. The silence protruding from the Doodlesphere was oftentimes annoying. Couldn't anything interesting happen, when he was able to be here? Between the attacks of the Villain Mob and speaking with his fellow Star Sanses, he didn't have much time to be around the place he called a home.
Then, he heard it. The soft voice, of someone he couldn't recognize. Turning his head, he could see a human, sporting a red and deep blue striped sweater, ripped blue jeans and dark brown boots. A human, running straight towards him. He didn't know how they got here. In all honesty, he wasn't sure even who they were. They weren't a Frisk, and they didn't appear to be a Chara. No, their outfit was unique.
The skeleton feels a thrill course through him, as he shudders at the thought. An enigma, perhaps someone that didn't belong to any AU? Perhaps the creators had blessed him with company that wouldn't leave his side? He wasn't sure, but either they did or didn't doesn't matter to him. He could see a familiar ebony and primary-colored skeleton chasing after the human. And he knew what he had to do.

This isn't a typical sans x reader(now papyrus x reader too). Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered.
