Night Changes

His eyes followed her tall beatific figure dreamily. Her long dark hair fell in loose waves past her shoulders, few darker peekaboo strands hang on the sides of her face. Her eyes glint in the dark just as they had the last time he had seen her, and the small smile on the side of her lips stay permanently.

She is just some steps away from him, just a few strides and he will be in front of her, and he could relish that memory that have been everywhere but the back of his mind for days. But she didn't see him. She looks very much occupied in the book she is reading.

His urge to talk to her reached its limit and in a matter of seconds, he towers in front of her. Slowly, she raised up her head and dark ocher eyes met his. Her smile wavered for a second, almost unnoticeable before it came back on. She looked into his eyes with vigour that made him thought they were not going to do anything more than gaze into each other's eyes, then her radiant face changed slightly to a friendly puzzled look and her lips parted to talk,

"Excuse me, do I know you please?"
