The human race has departed earth over a century ago and now evolution takes place once more. Most youngers develop gifts that were originally only assumed to be fantasy, while the rest of the public live in the high-tech world they created for space travel. As they voyage onward and reconstruct society in the new world, an evil organization overtakes the current order. Among their policies, they enact a series of games. Those young adults who survive are entered into the new regime. But sixteen year old Abigail Runner wants nothing to do with it. Unfortunately for her, her refusal to participate lands in her into a story she never imagined would unfold.
