I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together. Always Be With You - Merthur
Merlin gets kidnapped by an unknown person and when he returns, he's different. Gaius finds out what causes it. The Fomorroh. Arthur and Merlin go on a quest to kill the mother beast while it's tranquilized, so they can protect Camelot from Morgause and Cenred. Gwen and Morgana are also a big part of the story and I write in their perspective too. (I have put it on AO3 as well, I am currently editing out spelling/grammatical errors there, because it's easier than on this platform, plus, I love going back and forth to compare, it shows me my growth as an author)Complete
