This story is currently being rewritten in a different book. However, I will keep it up in order to maintain a similar storyline but with more drama and, hopefully, a better plot. Emma is a girl in a.... less than ideal home. She lost her sister and was only herself to two people. Emma is a cutter but has become used to hiding it. Abby, a popular, has been bullying her since way before they started elementary school for reasons of the unknown
Alec is a boy with absent parents and a little brother whom he has come to take care of along with his brothers nanny. He himself is also only open with two people. He shunned those who might've shunned him for being himself.
What happens if a girl took a wrong turn?

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push.
