This story is currently being rewritten in a different book. However, I will keep it up in order to maintain a similar storyline but with more drama and, hopefully, a better plot. Alec is a boy with absent parents and a little brother whom he has come to take care of along with his brothers nanny. He himself is also only open with two people. He shunned those who might've shunned him for being himself.

Behind the Innocent Smile
Emma Chase. She may seem as a normal high school girl with a fiery spirit. Always smiling and laughing to jokes told by her friends. But was it real? Was the smile real and not fake, the laughs true and not forced. We don't know. Nobody does. Emma is so used to hiding her emotions and putting on a facade that in her old school everyone thought her facade was the real her. She had to live up to the standards her facade made and live in the lie that was "Chase". Back then she was reckless, daring and wild to the point where it got out of hand. She has too many to count and too many that she drowns in them, but she stays afloat because she knows the burden that they are and she's built herself to carry it all. "She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! But what if she has secrets that nobody knows of? What if the only thing she can trust is her secret diary? What if slowly but surly she's dying inside?
