Another Red Winter story for all my winterwitch lovers!

Bucky found himself back in his room doing what he had been doing every night since the war, researching himself. Researching HYDRA, everything they had done, everything he had done. Papers of notes, photos, screenshots were scattered around his desk. Bucky was determined to erase The Winter Soldier, he wanted to get rid of it for good. So far though there were things missing, things he either couldn't remember or was never told. Things he needed in order to erase The Winter Soldier. The reflection of the webpages in his eyes made him look mad, he scrolled and read until his eyes hurt. Arnim Zola's name passed by on the screen, Bucky quickly shut his laptop and leaned forward, elbows on his desk he held his head in his hands. Another night without any new information. It felt like he had hit a fall going full speed and there was nothing on the other side. An idea sparked in his mind as he just began to feel utterly defeated, Wanda.

Wanda is determined to help Bucky get rid of The Winter Soldier for good, but when she cant seem to find the memories he is looking for in his mind, Bucky resorts to another option. Time travel. Although at first his idea is derailed when Bruce Banner refuses to let him go back, Wanda offers a helping hand again and with someone to watch over him, Banner agrees to let them both travel back to Bucky's younger years.Todos los derechos reservados

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. I'm just someone who has a deep love for the MCU that I can't help but try to keep the story going, keep these characters alive in more adventures, especially with 'endgame' hovering, looming over us.*

Bucky Barnes starts to remember his life before he became the Winter Soldier. After the events of Washington, he had wanted to run away and hide. He knew people would come looking for him, especially Hydra and the Avengers. Hidden away in a remote town, on the outskirts of Maine, Bucky tries to live a simple life without drawing attention to himself. Little does he know, he had been followed. ***** Alexandria (Lexi) Adams, was one of the best shadow agents of SHIELD. She was one that Fury trusted with everything, including her judgement. Fury knew that having the Winter Soldier on their side, would be beneficial, not to mention, it would stop Rogers from turning down missions he was needed on. Lexi follows Barnes from a distance, helping to set him up with a home and job, without him knowing it was her. She had moved in to the apartment across from him, playing the friendly neighbour, which was a feat in itself. Lexi was never considered a friendly type of person. It was her mission, to help keep him safe, recover his past, and obtain any Hydra information. She makes sure to bump into him, while shopping for groceries, introducing herself, but she finds he's very closed off and guarded. Can she get through to him, or will he up and run again? When Hydra operatives come crashing through their complex, Lexi must make the choice, to stand and fight, or run. Will the two work together?
