Meet Avery she is a small,short quite girl and has moved from England to New York to her this was a big step. Avery's late entrance into her new school hardwood academy causes her to become center of attention and that's when her life was turned around completely.

Meet carter the badboy the "boss" of hardwood academy he rules everything and everyone. He lets no one in and uses girls like tissue paper. He never opens up to anyone and has never settled down with one girl. He rude arrogant and can sometime have a heart as cold as ice.

What happens when the arrogant badass and the quite nerd who wants to get good grades cross paths when in detention for late arrivals? What happens when avery turns carter down and carter won't give up!! Will spark fly or die??
