In a world where anything that is written on your soulmate's body, including tattoos, also appears on yours, people can never get enough. Writing your phone number, address, or nice little reminders to get your soulmate to smile, it was all perfect, except for Elli.
She had watched all her friends and childhood crushes grow up to find their soulmates, and she was stuck with the constant reminder of tattoos and the frequent sharpie note on wrist, that she hasn't found hers.
As for Calum, he finds the soulmate thing stupid, accepting he'll never find love. Knowing shes out there and all he has to remind himself of it, is a stupid, shitty tattoo on his right foot, and random notes she leaves herself, because she seems to be forgetful and not know she can put it on her phone instead of writing it where he has to also see it.
