A fantasy retelling of Rey + Kylo Ren's story, with a focus solely on the two of them and their adventures to stop the Evil Emperor, who has taken over the planet and extended his power across the known world.
Will Kylo Ren, the Emperor's apprentice be able to turn Rey, the lonely scavenger from the Jakku Desert to the Dark Side or will her love make him rethink his lifelong commitment to the Sith?
Warnings: There is DEFINITELY adult situations and a fair amount of sex. But, there are situations of non-consent (rape) and violence. I don't think it's gratuitous because I have reasons for everything that's included, but you might disagree and find it uncomfortable. I'll try to warn chapter by chapter.

Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. Rey, an abandoned nobody, fought side by side with the powerful Kylo Ren. She saw a future in him, a redemption of Ben Solo. She believed it, and a part of her still does Kylo Ren, Ben Solo, the son of a Skywalker and the grandson of Darth Vader, turned to the dark side by the never calm conflict within him. He killed his own Supreme Leader for the scavenger girl, but now it seems the girl has no more faith in Ben Solo and he is lost. After the Battle of Crait, Rey shut the door on the new Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. Only days before, she was sure that she could bring back Ben Solo, but now, shes not so sure anymore. She's lost faith in him, she believes her vision was only a vision. But she just can't seem to forget the look in his eyes when he fought by her, when he killed his Supreme Leader, when he understood her after the dark cave consumed her. She can't seem to forget him. Then there's Resistance pilot Poe Dameron. Rey hardly knows him and yet now she's strongly captivated by him, drawn to him by an aura that feels so positive and so warm and welcome. And as much as she had pushed him away, the reality was that she was drawn to him more and more each day. She knew she needed a teacher, but deep in her heart she knew she needed him for more than that. This takes place 6 months after TLJ. Rey and Kylo are trying to understand their connection, but it's much harder than either of them can understand. Hux is of course a weasel and Poe and Finn, well I'll let you guys decide.
