In a somewhat dystopian future, where humanity has been ravaged by monsters and any human life is either hanging on by a thread in a settlement, or inside a giant building, never to see the light of day again, a boy wakes up with no memories.
He's taken to a place in a big underground building, full of people like him. He meets some friends, maybe a rival, but he feels trapped. He yearns for a day where he can explore the world, and he finds the job that will be perfect for him, but there's a catch.
This job is a military job, called the Wanderers, and they're not too keen on the idea of letting someone who claims to have no memories join them.
Will this boy's dream become a reality? Or is he destined to rot away underground?
Only time will tell the fate of this boy.
*BEFORE YOU READ* Please be aware that this is technically a rough draft, and also that I'm begging for any type of critique you can find on this. I really want to improve my skill as a writer and make this story as enjoyable as I can make it, and one way to do that is to take critiques! This is also one book in a planned trilogy. I do not have an update schedule planned, but I try to write at least 300 words a day.

This is my first X reader, so please don't hate. It is about a girl (you) who made a deal with a man by the name of Darkiplier, Markiplier's evil side. You were originally going to be used as a sacrifice until Dark thought of you as something more. Also, there is another alter ego that feels that you are also something more than a sacrifice. This story is about a boy who wants to do things the way his home used to live like. . . will he see the flaws in others and judge them or learn to be understanding of others? Read to find out. At first he thinks it's stress that makes him dream strange things, but as the dreams start to become more realistic his way of he begins to change. "I hope these dreams don't come true," he said. These dreams show him a daunting future and it all gets worse when he realizes that this future is fast approaching. Our protagonist will have to face a variety of problems and dangerous situations, and he will have to decide what kind of future he will choose. Maybe our protagonist will decide to live in solitude, facing this future alone. Or perhaps, he will choose to live with the rest of the survivors he encounters facing even greater problems. ---- This is a novel of one person surviving in a zombie apocalypse. At first it will be a slow read, but as the story unfolds we will have a variety of chapters with different plots that will help the story along. This one will have suspense, action, a bit of horror (although I'm not good at that), and romance (a planned harem, but it may change). The title says it's from The Walking Dead (TWD), but the truth is that it's not set in any of the themes of the series or the games.
