Aya was still a very small child during this time, she was far too young to remember the wars that were held at her doorstep. Her father was a well-respected doctor, in an attempt to protect his daughter, he went crazy with his plans to create a special medicine that could protect one's body from toxins. He completed his experiment when she was only five years old, but it didn't go as planned. The medicine rejected her body and in turn, created a deadly poison that coated her skin. She never got sick, her injuries would heal rapidly, but most of all; every blessing comes with a curse. Her curse? She'd melt anything she came into contact with.
