Kate lives a life of reckless adventure. Pills, parties, sugar daddies, money, friends, alcohol. The best part is, no one's around to stop her. She's free; she has the life destined for the ultimate American teenage dream.
Her life careens as her memorable escapades slowly drag her down a rabbit hole she thought people only dreamt up in their worst of nightmares. A striving for the ideal body falls from her control, gaining a life of its own. The pills, booze, and money paves the way to conspiracies so deep, the only way out is further in. As everything brings her further down the rabbit hole, things take a sinister turn. After all, death has a way of turning the luxury life of partying into a hell deeper than anyone could have foreseen.
There's only one thing left to do: keep the secret chained, and run.
Above all, remember the unwritten rule: don't snitch, and don't get caught.

There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. But, after a series of events in the course of one day, they are thrown back together, and Kate is given the chance to explain herself.
