Heads or Tails

"Heads or Tails?" She posed the question appearing with her arm outstretched, hand flat and a coin sitting on her palm.
"What do they represent?" his voice shook as he asked the question.
"Heads, we stay, you remain the favourite child and our parents can keep you a prisoner in their house" she paused and looked at him,
"And tails?" he dared himself to ask,
"Tails, we leave, we hit the road and take the road trip you've always wanted. It's time to live your life while you still can" he hesitated, weighing up the pros and cons of the idea in his head and as he gave Remi the ok, a big part of him hoped for tails.
