one adjective to describe edward kaspbrak would be "gifted". unlike other kids, however, his gift wasn't an amazing brain capacity for math or  scholarship earning athleticism; his gift was seeing adjectives that described how people were feeling.

between the budding sexualities of both himself and his friends and the gift that was graciously bestowed onto him by some mysterious means, some serious, in richie's words, "shit" was about to "go down". 

the only adjective to describe eddie's situation was "festive", one of richie's favorite words.

Stan isn't out, but he'd still do anything for his close friends...well...crush. Ben is on the football team. He's shy, but he's been friends with Bev since freshman year. She'd come up to him and spoke to him in one of their shared classes one day. Since then he's had a massive crush on her. Mike doesn't talk much. He's quiet and un confrontational, but he'd Fuck someone up if they hurt Ben. Ben is like a younger brother to him even though they are the same age, and he may not be mean, but for Ben, he can be.
