Mary is your typical Nigerian boarding school student. Just trying to get through life one day at a time, right? Days fraught with life-threatening dangers like assignments, teachers bent on destroying her life, boys bent on leading her down the path of immorality and most of all, finding the strength to get up from her bunk bed in the morning. Junior class was easier at least, but now in her second senior year, it feels like everyone has an arrow pointed to her forehead. She just can't wait to get the hell out of this school and never look back. Like, ever.
This book is about the power of friendship, God's love, forgiveness and being true to oneself.
