Frederica Brubaker has never had a second date.

As for the reasons-that's tough for even Freddie to understand. It's not like she's a two-headed monster.

Sometimes, she thinks the idea of "dates" is outdated. Sometimes, she's not sure if her method of counting is remotely legit. Even so, she'll know when she has one-a second meeting where the chemistry and connection are still strong. Most days, she thinks she has mutated DNA, passed on by her mother Felicity O'Hara, who is on her fourth-possibly-fifth husband, unable to hang on to a man, despite being the star of the reality TV show The Matchmaker.

In the summer following her college graduation, Freddie takes a job on the show as a Production Assistant to make ends meet until she can find a job in her field. She absolutely, positively does not want to be a guest on the show, even if a certain squisito Italian guest has caught her eye. Meanwhile, her mother-a diva since childbirth-has other ideas, which involve finding a second date and the perfect match for Freddie.

Miss Matched is an irresistible, feel-good romantic comedy that will appeal to fans of reality shows like The Bachelor and Love Island.

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. 'Needs a lot of editing' We break the kiss hurriedly and look in the door's direction to see Andrea. "Oh my god, sorry. I didn't know you were eating her face, Gabriel. Get a room," She teases. "We are in a room," I remark, throwing a pillow her way. "Ha! Missed me," she laughs when she avoided the pillow. I throw another one and miss again. "Missed me again," She laughs again. "I swear to God Andy," I say, losing my patience. "Okay, okay, I'll go now and let you guys finish." She states, swaying her eyebrows. When she leaves I look back at a blushing mess Bailey, and I smile when I think about how cute she looks. ____________________________ Andrea and Gabriel had been friends since the first day Andrea joined Carter's company as an assistant.
