Dr. Julia Matthews has been a psychiatrist working at Arkham for a few years. She never treated any of the Gotham rouges that is until the man she's fascinated by becomes her patient. She wanted to know how his mind worked. She wanted to know how a once well respected Doctor would end up the way he did. Well Julia's fascination may be more than she can handle. Especially when she falls victim to his toxin and she developes a fear she didn't know she had.

Batman: Testamentum Formidinis Dr. Jonathan Crane, the Scarecrow, is free. Pardoned by President Lex Luthor under the guise of "vigilante interference," Crane resurfaces as "Dr. J. Conrad," opening the "Institute for Mental Fortitude." His promise? A revolutionary compound that suppresses fear, freeing people to live "unburdened" lives. But this freedom comes at a terrifying cost. Crane's compound is a refined version of his infamous fear toxin, and missing a single dose unleashes an amplified terror, driving its users into psychosis. As Gotham grapples with horrifying incidents-a former Marine murdering his family, a mass casualty event in Gotham Park, and six individuals jumping to their deaths from Gotham Bridge, all eerily calm-Batman races against time. The Dark Knight soon discovers the insidious truth: Crane has created a city of ticking "fear bombs." With Luthor's pardon and a religious exemption shielding Crane, Batman must find a way to dismantle this chilling scheme. His only lead? The compound was given to minors without parental consent, a clear case of child endangerment. Deputized by the Gotham City District Attorney, Batman begins rounding up the victims, but the clock is ticking. Crane, ever the master manipulator, has one final, horrifying demonstration planned, one that will bring the true meaning of fear directly to the most powerful man in the world: President Lex Luthor himself. Can Batman stop the widespread terror before Gotham succumbs to its own darkest fears? And what will be the ultimate price of this "unburdened" existence?

A story can start with the most unusual beginning. And this one begins with a patient losing her mind and fighting to stay sane as she undergoes treatments ran by Dr. Jonathan Crane, a doctor with another identity. And then the twist begins when a prison break occurs and the broken woman escapes, but somehow winds up back again with the man she once despised. For he is her cure to insanity. (Made in 2014)
