Vega Quinn loves the stars; she was named for one, after all. She finds comfort in their soft glow: they remind her of her parents and the life she once had. A tragic accident strikes, and she has to leave her loving home in Phoenix, Arizona, say goodbye to her friends at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and begin a new life at Hogwarts. After a lonely first day, she sneaks up to the astronomy tower to watch the stars, but there's someone up already up there. She shares a long conversation with the mysterious boy, talking about love and loss, their hopes and dreams. She comes to find that Sirius Black is much different during the day than he is under the starlight. Will Vega learn to accept both sides of him? And what will happen to their friendship when a wizarding war breaks out?

"Come on! We want to get a good seat!" She smiled brightly. "Yeah, I'm coming--" She was entranced by the floating candlesticks and the night sky visible through the ceiling...at least that is what it looked like to her even though she was aware that it was enchanted. "Wow," she whispered to herself and she walked head on into something that wasn't there a moment prior and she looked directly in front of her and saw the loosely knotted tie in burgundy and gold over an adams apple and she looked up into the gray eyes that were looking down at her physical attributes with appreciation. "Ooo! Cushy," he said in a low voice meant for only her to hear. "Damn," she said in a low voice. "You certainly are cute." The handsome boy raised his brow and looked her over as his mouth carried a lop-sided grin. He opened his mouth to speak, but she placed her finger over his lips. "Too bad you're a jerk." She said, then she winked at him and skirted past him. Sirius' face flushed pink and he craned his neck to watch her walk away, as well as the hem of her skirt swishing to and fro. She sat down on the bench and brought her legs up and swung them around and she turned her head slowly and looked him over slowly and smiled to herself as she turned her attention to her classmates. Having been partners with a task before, not to mention one of Sirius' friend, James, is head over heels for Lily Evans, a friend of (Y/n). The two converses with each other occasionally, only not in ways they might like it to be. Though when Remus Lupin befriended (Y/n), the girl found herself caught in an unexpected bond with the rest of the boy's friends.
