Deathstroke and Ra's have teamed up, but it's not your everyday villain alliance. When Artemis is captured by the Light, the Young Justice team is thrown into chaos.
Artemis just wanted to not have to deal with her crazy villain family anymore. But who is her new guard, a boy who looks younger than her that calls himself Renegade? Is this the infamous apprentice of Deathstroke she's heard about?

A mission goes South and Robin is in the firing line from Batman- literally. In the face of Tony Zucco being let out of jail early, Dick seems distracted. Batman tries to bench him, but it leads Dick to an impulsive move that leaves him unable to return to the Team or the League. Years later, Aqualad goes undercover in the Light, and his greatest obstacle is the strange man who works for Ra's Al Ghul- an impressive and deadly assassin known as Renegade. Sequel to Cracks: A young Justice fanfiction After Wally, Artemis, and Robin are rescued, you'd think things would go back to normal. But since a certain team is suspended, the teens don't see each other much. The teens go back to 'normal' lives for the time being. Things at school are difficult for the three teens though. Artemis was treated as a lower class since she was there on scholarship. And after returning things seem worse. Richard also had problems, being a short, adopted 'nerd' the others find it fun to harass the young boy. Wally never had it easy at school. He had many enemies that took advantage of his brain. Things continue to get worse, with Wallys Father still on the loose, what will these teens do? Will they ask for help? Or try to deal with ir themselves? Befriending The Enemy
While on a mission, things get out of hand and the groups end up splitting. Robin is hunted and shot twice in the abdomen. He manages to escape them, making his way to an abandoned building where, to his surprised, held Deathstroke. With the help of an enemy, Deathstroke nurses Robin back to health. When Robin is healed, through the weeks with Deathstroke, he finds comfort in him. Deathstroke, Sensing this, decides to help get Robin's strength back up. With Robin learning new things that Batman never taught him, Robin decides to stay with Deathstroke as a new apprentice, not realizing the mental damage he was doing to his old team. While they were out searching for Robin. Thinking he was dead, little did they know Robin was living his best no strings attached life. After 5 years, the Team gets a mission which happens to be tracking down Deathstroke and his unknown apprentice. When they find him, what will they think? Will Robin even apologize? Is Robin even Robin anymore? What will Batman think? How much has changed on both sides?
