Four friends (and maybe some others) work together at a local community theatre in their small town. Unfortunately for Virgil, however, the director presents the theatre team with a little change in the roles. Whether stepping out of their comfort zones, or fighting internal battles,  this show is going to be a little different and challenging for everyone. 

Trigger Warnings: Occasional cursing, panic attack. Will post at the beginnings of chapters.


This is based off an AU myself and a few other Fanders thought of. It is my first experience writing fanfiction, so please be kind, but if you notice any grammar or spelling mistakes, don't be afraid to point them out. As this is an AU, the characters in this are not a part of Thomas, they are different people, and so they will have different physical features based off my interpretations. Please be respectful, and I hope you enjoy!

[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Virgil has the next couple years of his life planned out: he'll graduate from high school and study Graphic Design in college. His roommate will be his best friend, Roman. At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. Stuck far away from home in a cabin with his crush. For three. Whole. Days. Roman, the young and popular dashing king is lonely and is in search of a queen or king. The two bump into each other on accident and worlds collide between the two. Roman suddenly feels like he has company and Virgil has a new feeling he can't describe. When Virgil's master finds out it only brings hell for the star-cross lovers with a curse and a whole lot of trouble standing in the way between the two. Virgil is the source of Thomas's anxiety so that means he was treated differently. Patton and Logan didn't mind his presence as long as he doesn't hurt Thomas or be too harsh. Roman is a different story he didn't like Virgil as much as the others did so he'd often start the fights. What happens if he starts to find out what's wrong with the rain cloud? Will he give him mercy and apologize? Or will he suffer the harsh consequences for his actions? Romance is in the air for them both what happens next???
