The snow queen is a big danger here in Ambrosia. She was going to be the queen of Ambrosia until on fateful day. It was the day she became queen. But, there was something evil in the queens heart that no one knew of. She had winter powers that no one knew of either. She kept them hidden in gloves. But, one of her gloves got caught on a chair and ripped. The queen ran away from everyone as her feet touched the ground making ice. She froze the water that surrounded Ambrosia. She ran all the way to the North Mountain and built her castle out of ice. She let her dark side take over and she yelled at the storm she had made; "go to Ambrosia and make them suffer. This is a warning to them not to have another queen, I am their queen..." And the storm took off to Ambrosia. The storm lasted three years and the queen hasn't returned; and no one hopes she does.

When one-month-old orphaned boy Hiccup Haddock is brought before the King and Queen of Arrendale, they take him in and act as his parents. During this time the Iduna and Agnar discover that he is the prophesied Dragon Prince, that will one day unite the dragon and human worlds to become the King of dragons. Five years go by and the young Princess Elsa, her brother Prince Hiccup and younger sister Princess Anna have developed an unbreakable bond. Agnar and Iduna isolate Elsa and Anna within the castle, closing the gates to their subjects, in an effort to protect their daughter from hurting herself and others. Elsa ceases all contact with Anna, tearing a rift between them and their bond.
