A god can do anything for his devotee, anything. 

Even promise him that a piece of his soul would be born as a daughter in his family in Kali yuga, but what happens when the blessing that he was meant to cherish is abused everyday? 

What happens when the one person Krishna loves is being tortured? 

Bound by the promise that until she, the piece of him doesn't calls him, he won't come to help her in any manner.
