After the war against Gaia, all the heros in the 7 had returned to their respective camps. For Annabeth, it was hard to let her friends leave after spending so much time shoved together in one boat, but she could manage for a while. But then a month went by. Then two. Then it had been a year and she had barely seen her friends at Camp Jupiter for more than an Iris Message. It definitely hurt to feel so alone.

Even so, when Percy, Leo, and Jason planned a 5 month trip on the Argo, she had her apprehensions. You see, she was an age regressor, someone who regressed to a younger state of mind when faced with trauma or stress. Annabeth always had her fair share of both, but after the war, she had started regressing almost daily with Percy being the only one who knew about it. She had kept it from the others for so long, but she wasn't sure if she could anymore. 

What if the others turn on her? She couldn't even bear the thought. I guess we'll just have to see what happens in Safety In The Sky.All Rights Reserved

So with all the feelings of neglect, Leo slips back into his old habits and runs...runs away from everyone.

Annabeth grit her teeth but didn't struggle. They couldn't win this fight. And the worst part? She totally saw it coming. This is an au where Jason turns the Greeks over to the Romans instead of cooperating, and the resulting conflict ensues. Can the Greeks and Romans work together? Or will they both be torn apart in the end.
