Zan Marumoto, also known as Taigaa Tamaa (Tyrant Tamer), risks his life on the line against deadly psychological games, lifestyle and gambling to achieve his dream of high academic goals. Achieving this dream isn't easy however as the world can neither be welcoming nor forgiving, as all gamblers will do their best to lie and cheat their way to victory.

Using Zan's sheer intellect, strategy and deduction, he challenges himself against psychotic opponents to win his goal and proceed to his plans of reaching to the top of his academic life.
