As governments impose restrictions in efforts to alleviate the spread of COVID-19, the transition from leaving schools and jobs to be quarantined at home impacted the lives of many people across the world. One of the many perks of staying home is not only being able to catch up on family time but also having the time to contemplate one's own growth. While in quarantine, I was able to write down what the loud voices in my head often echo, a few persona poems; some comedic, and others screaming for social justice. Here are my quarantine thoughts.

Turned my life into art
My collection of poems in the past three years which leads to character development. Realistic incidents, illusionary love, hardships, it's quite a journey. Some say I'm unique and some say I'm Raw. Some say my work is relatable and some feel they can relate. That's crazy though, makes me want to be heard. I was quiet as feathers basically my whole life, closed up, antisocial, lost. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. Love, loss, pain, regret, humor, irony, word play, and even sarcasm are as much apart of my life as they are central to my poems here. I am Thresheld.
