I cut through my skin making an "x" on my wrist.

"This is why I don't trust people... " I thought. "He doesn't understand the pain I go through, no one does."

I cut through my skin again making a deeper cut as blood rushed down my arm.

"Everyone I meet leaves me. He's just like all the others. He would stay if he cared. It's all my fault isn't it? I drove him away with all of my nonsense, carelessness, and stupidity."

Negative thoughts rushed through my head as the blade ran through my skin one last time before I blacked out.

I woke up in a hospital bed. Sitting in the chair next to me was the one and only: Luke. The one person I didn't want to see here. The one who caused this mess.

"Baby, I was so worried about you! As soon as I got a call, I found the earliest plane back here. Are you ok? Baby tell me you're ok!" He choked between sobs.

Maybe he wasn't as bad as I thought he was...

Do you remember me?" He asks, looking into my eyes and I just stared at him confused, then shake my head slowly. "Sorry, I don't know who you are." I reply and get ready to walk away but he grips my arm softly and turns me back to him. I finally looked into his eyes...they looked so familiar.. his facial features, so familiar, his smile. "Its me, baby." he let's out desperately and I squint my eyes trying to figure it out, his voice drawing me in as I slowly began to realize who this man was. "Its, Daddy." he says in an ever so soft voice, and it felt like everything around us froze as if it were just me and my father. Without saying anything, I launched forward and embraced him, holding on tight like my life depended on it. You finally came. "Daddy, I love you." Then my vision started hurting and I fell into my father's arms, my body felt cold and wet, completely numbing out. I could see blurs off people rushing our way and I could hear gasps and my name being repeatedly shouted. I couldn't respond, I couldn't react, and I lost all hearing and I could only hear ringing turning into silence as I stayed in my fathers arms, cold out. It hit me, I'm dying. With my littlest bit of force left, I barely clenched onto my father's shirt, then free fully released it. Everything was disappearing, I slowly dropped my eyes and all I seen now were the people closest to me, Luke, my mom, my dad, and Sara all crying, crying over me. Then, it ended. My eyes closed completely and I felt my hearts last, strong, beat until I felt nothing at all.

EXTRACT: She rises and hurries to the backyard door, turning towards me with an amused expression. "Catch me if you can." She challenges me, and I'm always willing to take one on. "Oh it's on." This time I wasn't planning on letting her win. She slid the door open and ran outside onto the green grass. Faith tried to careful to avoid slipping it due to the rain. I dashed there following her. "What are you guys doing?! Are you crazy?!" Allegra yells at us from the deck by the door. "You're so slow!" Faith looks back while running. "Oh just you wait Faith-" I catch up just behind really closing to grabbing hold of her. The rain soaked her brown hair and drenched her clothes but she didn't seem to mind. The appearance of her smile was only enhanced by her wet face. I realize I'm supposed to catch her and grab her, but as soon as I do, we both find ourselves slipping onto the grass. Swish. We rested on the lawn, catching our breath from the chase. Faith hovers over me and restrains me by pressing both of my wrists. In retaliation, I flip her over the same way and secure her. "Good try." I sneer and laugh at her unsuccessful attempt. I leaned over her frame, gazing straight into her deep brown eyes, and I had no intention of removing my gaze from them in the future. I seemed to have caught her off guard and she didn't know how to react. Time slowed down for a moment, it continued to downpour, there was still grass in her hair. And out of nowhere, Faith kissed my cheek. There's no way that just happened. ************ end of extract. I won't say I knew I wouldn't fall in love with him, I knew. The very first instant, from the first glance, from that sense of unfamiliar familiarity, I knew. And I think he did too. I wouldn't say it was love at first sight, rather just a feeling like I had some ties to this person, who knows maybe in a past life. Well anyway, I did, but little did I know that the first time it would ruin me. But the second time, It healed me.

The past carries an unjust history. Immoral actions mark the present. The future holds untold consequences. Bad things happen to good people, and good people do bad things. | | || ||| ||||| |||||||| ||||||||||||| You, of all people, should understand the obsession. Whether it's the endless hours lost to a screen, the compulsion to scroll through forums, the need for that next high, the haunting grip of past trauma, the fixation on someone unattainable, the pursuit of a fleeting feeling, or even the inexplicable attachment to something as simple as frogs-obsession has woven itself into every corner of your life. •__ •_ •• •_• •_• • •••• / ••_ • •_• I have done terrible things because I let obsession take over me. It wasn't always that way. It started as a lie; it became true one day. I told myself I was in control and could stop anytime, but I only lied to myself. I was powerless. I never wanted to hurt anyone; I hurt him and myself. Now, I'm left with the wreckage of my choices. I wonder if there's any way to get things back to how they were before. Xgbs bqf zpv patfttfc xisg? To us, they are just another random person: the letters carved on the table, the artist of old graffiti, the person who also walked into the restroom, the reason the trash is full, or the garbage thrower on the side of the streets. But to them, they're the main fucking character in their own story, and each mark, item, digital trace, and photo they have makes a fragment of their existence. We may never know their face or name, but the traces they left remind us that everyone's lives intersect, creating a vast web of connections; unnoticed or not, they are never truly invisible. Don't say I didn't warn you. Okay, I wrote this at the start of this year (may 2016) and I had very poor writing skills. "It's too much to remember everything and everyone, all pain and hurt is killing me day by day little by little. I wish I could remove all the pain and move on in my life. I wish I could find an eraser or Better a delete button, so that I could start from beginning, without any misery or pain." ......................................................................................... "Hey Eva, you know you can trust me, right? " He asked me again cupping my cheeks, I can't let him continue this. It had to stop now or it would be too late. I can't risk everyone's life specially his. If hurting him means, him being alive then I would do it without thinking. Again and again. "Eva are you even listening to me?" Noah asked moving his face closer. From this close I can even see the scar which he told me about, its just below the border line of his hair, it can be easily conceal but from this close its more real. His eyes, they are magical. I would love to look at them all the time and never get tired of looking at in them. No, I cannot do this to him, I can't be selfish, I have to do something this time. "No" I answer and walked away from him. .............................................................
