This is a short play (approximately 10 minutes) to be performed by two actors, via video conferencing.
The year is 2030. The pandemic of 2020 was only the start of our problems. Now, a much smaller human population struggles with being permanent, lifetime 'shut-ins', cared for only by AIs and robots. In this 'new normal', trying to find a romantic partner can prove slightly tricky. By getting together over video, Laura and Errol had hoped to make their long-distance love work. Now, it's all gone wrong... With the help of a non-binary AI called 'Blue' (and the timeless power of Shakespeare), might there still be time to reboot their love?All Rights Reserved

It's not rosy, it won't be smooth, there's no instantaneous affection. As such the story is barely even a romance - there's struggle, ambiguity and things going from bad to worse on an express train. All that said, there will be semblance of a happy ending.
