Driven with his willingness to prove that he's not just a "rake of a man" and also to prove his family that he too just like his older brother Ace can handle and manage a business. He eagerly packed up and left the city to visit the property above the sea of clouds.
But things just changed in a blink of an eye, for before he knew it, he saw himself back in the city, with no resort project and a woman who claims to be his girlfriend in tow with him. And what's worst is that he can't remember anything.

Liwayway Magiting was furious when a man from the city announced that the other half their settlement was already sold and will be turned into a mountain resort. Which means they have to endure the modernization and the barraged of strangers entering the land that they inherited from their forefathers.
Trying to fought back for their peaceful living on their land, Liwayway saw herself hitting the arrogant man with gray eyes in the head. And she panicked when the man woke up, not remembering anything. It was like his memory was erased. Seeing that as an opportunity to turn things around, she pretended to be his girlfriend to change Rake's mind and save her small community from the incursion of strangers and the exploitation of their land.
But how long can she handle the lies? And how long could she resist to not fall to his charms and the uncanny longing inside of her, that was burning every time those beautiful gray eyes of his roamed her body. And how long could she hold back on not falling in love to the man who is a threat of losing their peaceful living . Which will she choose? Her duty to her beliefs for her people? Or her duty to her heart?
But what if Rake found out about Liwayway's treachery? Will he get mad for she used him? Or will he forgive her for he loves her as part of his life? What will he choose? His duty to his business? Or his duty to his heart?
