I can tell I am really going to regret writing this... anyway, you are y/n, a teenage boy that is about to be a test subject for modified cryogenics. The experiment goes wrong, and you wake up in what you assume is a wasteland. (which is actually full of inklings, etc.) This is mainly just going to be me writing my thoughts down because I think that the main character for humans in splatoon stories are cowardous and not very ok in the head. You might be thinking, "dude, just chill, its part of the character and the description is already way too long." I agree.

"Thank god I'm alive. I wish I don't have to relieve the suffering again." ... His name is Prince Brooks. One of the few humans that was inserted into a cryo pod and went on to wake up on this new, new world. But he and the other humans were tasked to carry the legacy of humanity. He was "fished" out of the water by Capt. Cuttlefish and "Shell". Years later, he grew up to be the co-leader of Squidbeak Splatoon. But then the war came. He became a hero by saving Cuttlefish by being cornered and killed but he sacrificed himself for the win of the 2nd Great Turf War. Not too long after the war, he was dug up by the "CEO" of the F. A. O Agency. And became a valuable asset for them. Along with his new friend "Cross", they moved to the Plaza to live a normal life. But do they? Follow the adventures of Brooks and Cross. As they try their hardest to keep their identity secret. And will Brooks can finally stop reminiscing the past trauma? We won't know until we find out. Shall we start? It's been 4 years since Three saw Eight, and she's getting pretty depressed by that. The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried. Having not aged while in the project he is released just short of the end of the war with both sides in a stalemate he turns the tables winning and,becoming a hero in the eye's of his people. He would hope to live a normal life but that would never happen as a disaster so severe would strike humanity so he did what was best for everyone else rather than him.
