September, 1941- A demi-goddess born in 1885, has died and been reborn twice when she is swept into the war between the USA and Germany, 19 year old Natalie Catriona McGregor-Fraser was left an orphan when she watched some men come into her father's bar and shot him when he couldn't produce the money for protection. In doing so, she ended up destroying the bar, and struck fear into the everyday American in New York as a firebird flew across their sky.
In becoming an orphan for the first time since her existence, she signs up for the army, more so for the fact she had served in the first World War as a nurse but passed from the Spanish Infuenza, but the man who was going through her application looked at her and in saying no based on her gender, he got a glimpse of her abilities, and had assigned her to Dr. Erskine, a German-born scientist who was working on a serum for a super soldier.
That is where her story takes place... Interactions with Bucky Barnes, the Avengers and a romance with Captain America.

Her story will continue with more stories that follow the storylines of the other Captain America movies, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Anyways, meet Anne Taylor. Anne Taylor has been best friends with Steve and Bucky for as long as she can remember. Her mother was the strongest figure in her life, fighting for women's rights, until the tragic day her alcoholic father murdered her in cold blood and she was sent to Brooklyn at just 5 years old along with her siblings, George(8) and Rose(7), to live with her grandparents. She met Steve and Bucky at the library and has been friends with the two ever since. When she was around 16 years old she started to fall in love with Bucky, but never told him due to his interest in other women, but he secretly loved her too. When the news that Bucky had been drafted into the army at 23 years old and Steve was attempting to enlist reached her, she was devastated. She couldn't loose the love of her life and best friends to the war, but she kept quiet. Now we join her and follow her story.
