Oliver and his friend go camping in the wilds of Canada in late February. They both just expected to have a small hike, spending time together to get away from the stresses of their tiny town. He quickly realized that this would be his most stressful thing in his life.

They said it would be a relaxing week in the woods with friends. Graham thought returning home for the first time in eight years would be the hardest thing he'd have to do. Surrounded by whispers and gossip, he was more than eager to exchange the quiet a Pennsylvanian town for a luxury cabin in the woods. The group of college students had planned a celebration of sorts to send off two of their friends who would be leaving the continent on a research mission. It wasn't very difficult to plan out my first victim. I watched them all day, studied their movements, listened to their conversations, and watched them fall asleep. The funny thing about it was that I was just a few feet away from them. But how could they have known? The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
