The Thing Called Love
"Don't look at me like that. I promise I will make you feel like a queen, when living here." He said looking straight through me. He came closer and tried to kiss me. I turned my head making him to kiss my cheek instead. "One day you will kiss me. You will learn to love me too and learn to forget about Dakota Grey." He whispered taking a piece of my hair and tucking it behind my ear. "I will never love a monster like you." I said. "I have a feeling you will." He said, giving me a one sided smirk. "You don't know me." I said. He chuckled. "My love, of course I do." He said. "No you don't, we just met." I replied. "So many things you need to learn." He said playing with my hair. "Get your hands off me!" I said pushing them back. He gave me a devilish smile and got on top of me. "You don't disrespect your future husband! You will be a good girl and listen to everything I say! Is that clear?!" He growled. I kept my mouth shut and didn't dare to look at him. He grabbed my face with his hands and forcefully kissed me. "Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. After my escape, and yet another but brutal last year at the same high school, my school sent me their condolences and made sure to inform my future college of my past. Once I got my new identity, I tried to start anew. Moving me to a new place was the best thing the police and Dr Matthews allowed me to do, but it still didn't stop this nudging feeling that kept coming over me. I don't know why, but for some reason, I could tell that my kidnapper (Mr Blue) was going to come back for me. --- On the two year anniversary since my abduction, the past comes back to haunt me. The only thing that's changed is that I'm not the only one on his Hit List. My friends are too. I was finally happy after what happened to me during my junior year of high school.
