It's been 7 years since Hinata graduated high school, and 3 since he last saw his teammates.
For the last 5 years Hinata has been in a lovely relationship with his boyfriend Kuso Kutabare, or at least that's what the team thinks.
In all actually Hinata has been going through hell. He wants to get away from him but everytime he does, he can't. That is... until his teammates step in to help.
Can Hinata really get out of the hell he has been forced to endure all this time?...

This story will be a Kagehina focus but will include mentions of other ships as well such as sugamama and dadichi.
Disclaimer- I don't own the artwork on the cover, and I don't own Haikyuu. The plot is mine and so is any characters mentioned that have never previously been in haikyuu. There will be no crossovers unless I give a notice at the start of the chapter.

The Sunshine's Secret
Shoyo Hinata was known to anyone that plays volleyball, as the sunshine of Karasuno. He lit up everyone's faces off the court and inspired others to be their best while playing. Everyone loved him, especially a select few, but no one had any clue who he really was or what he was going through. Hinata played dumb at school, hid his true self and his feelings. No one knew just how bad things were for him at home and he wasn't about to let anyone find out. As he continued to hide his secrets from his teammates and rivals his world slowly began to fall apart. He grows closer to his team mates and rivals and begins to have feelings for them. Polygamy wasn't a problem, it happened quite often. No, the problem was that Shoyo was afraid to let anyone know the secrets he had been carefully hiding away. *DISCLAIMER* I do NOT own the rights to the Haikyu!! characters, I only own the story line I have written. I changed the story to Mature because of language and situations involving abuse. *****Trigger Warning.******** Abuse. Starvation. Story may contain thoughts of suicide and acts of self harm. I will do my best to place trigger warnings in the chapters that they occur. The story may be a little dark at times, but I'll make sure to have plenty of fun moments too, because Haikyu!! is hilarious and I wouldn't want to make a fanfic that was totally full of angst. Due to a tragic accident in middle school, Hinata Shouyou's vocal cords were destroyed and he lost the majority of his hearing. He can still play volleyball, proving his skills are useful despite him being mute and nearly deaf. When the ginger-haired boy is paired with a pessimistic, but talented setter, this setter will soon learn that Hinata is silent about more than just his muteness.
