Kurt seemed to be completely lost in your eyes as he stood at the entrance of the mansion next to Raven. His eyes glazed over with tears as he began walking ever so carefully towards you. He was shaking as he was nervous to hug you after so long. He was afraid that you wouldn't remember him after years of being separated. It was when you gently took his hand and softly muttered, 'Kurt?' a toothy grin danced on his lips.

Kerri was just a normal teenager with maybe a little worse than normal home life, and an ok but dull school life. That is, until she one day develops an interesting problem. She gains mutant powers, and her appearance starts changing randomly with her emotions. Now she has to try and keep those under a tighter lock than before, because mutant hysteria has hit her town, and she went from an unknown quiet bookworm to the topic on everybody's tongue. Then it really hits the fan at home and she has to leave before it gets worse. Luckily, Professor Charles Xavier finds her and saves her from the streets before something unthinkable can happen to her. Unfortunately it took him a year to find her and she's withdrawn from the world, and isn't used to socializing with humans anymore. And then there's Kurt, code name Nightcrawler. He's a mutant too, and has been treated differently his whole life because of the way he looks. The best day of his life was coming to the institute and getting the hologram that hides the way he really looks so he can finally look like everyone else. But when the newest student comes to the school, he finds himself judging her by looks too.
