So i had an idea. I've been into DBH (Detroit: Become Human) lately, and i've been thinking about how a second game would be set up, and i thought; "did something happen to Hank's wife/girlfriend/Cole's mom? why hasn't she (or he, idk, he's gotta have been given birth to, right?) come up at all?" and the idea was that Hank and Connor could find dots that don't connect with the case or Her/is death (probs an unidentified murder), and go investigate. Then i thought it'd be a really cool Fanfic, Right? it's gonna take place after the game, the Androids are going to have been given equal rights, and have had them for a while, and kara, Aliec, and Luther all got to Canada. But yeah, so i'm going to be working on that soon.

The android revolution failed, but Detroit is still reeling from the aftermath. One woman, Dr. Clara Hayes, has always been fascinated with androids, especially deviants. One day, she is approached by Cyberlife, who stop her research and blackmail her into working for them instead, instructing her to find a solution to deviancy. I thought I would write this book in honor of Pride month and honoring the LGBTQ+ community, also this was kind of a request from someone. Also I thought I would maybe write something different and a little new 😅 You are an android who was freed by Markus and the people of Jericho during the android revolution and then you met someone who changed your life forever, whom is Kara. Ever since you've been free and became a deviant, you always wanted to be part of a family. You meet Kara and as you two start to get to know each other, you start to fall in love with her and she falls in love with you as well. When you and Kara become a couple, you adopt Alice as your adoptive daughter (if you are wondering, yes Luther is still Alice's adoptive father and Kara is still her adoptive mother, you are more like a second adoptive mother to Alice. Also, yes, Kara and Luther are still really great friends and they are still family 😅) and you all start to have amazing adventures, especially romantic adventures with Kara. I hope you all enjoy! *Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. Everything seemed fine, until an android walked into the bar. Everyone watched as he approached us. "Lieutenant Anderson, Detective (l/n), my name is Connor. You were never supposed to exist. An RK700. An earlier model meant to do Connor's job, but scrapped before you ever got the chance to leave the assembly line. Deemed a failure. Tossed in the dump. You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be. And he's very good at his job. It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! This may be written 7 years after the game's release, but I really hope all of you loyal fans are still looking for more content... My two biggest inspirations for this story: - Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. - Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.
The Replacement - Detroit: Become Human
I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? Story length: 10,003 Words - This is based after the ending where everyone lives and they essentially get equal rights for androids - This is not Hank x Connor, it's more of a father/son relationship - Trigger Warnings: Cussing, drinking, bodies and typical crimescene environments, drugs, etc. - This is kinda a lazy fanfic- AKA I really love these characters and had a scene in my head, then formed a plot around it and did my best to make it interesting lol. - I made the cover in Desygner - Characters belong to the game Detroit: Become Human and the company that made it, Quantic Dream.
