katniss is a poor girl from town 12 who works in king Joseph Mellark kingdom of the Capitol in Zander as one if his personal main servants with her best friend Madge Undersee.
One day the king announces a masquerade ball for prince Peeta, his youngest son to find a young rich wife to seal his throne rights and rule the kingdom since the king is stepping down.
So Madge begs her to go, not being able to say no, katniss finds her self dancing with peeta not knowing it was him. When she finds out who she was dancing with katniss realizes that she has fallen
in love with peeta and vice versa.But the queen makes it clear that she doesn't want her
son to marry katniss. Everyone thinks that it because she is a maid but the right reason is,
because katniss is the long lost princess of Zander but her and her parent got kicked out when peeta's family sent soliders to murder them 20 yrs ago.
Would they fight through to keep there love or give up??
