Princesses, Mercy and Millicent Chandler, grow up in the kingdom of Avasa. Their mother passed when they were seven. Mercy was favored by her father. The princesses were best friends until their twenties. Millicent starts practicing dark magic before eventually terrorizing all Avasians. 

Mercy marries Elf Prince, Asher Rivers. Millicent makes a scene at the wedding that end up with her being banished from Avasa. However, she stays, but is hidden by dark creatures (vampires, sirens, werewolves). 

Two years later, Mercy gives birth to twins, Shiloh and Serenity, who were born with purple eyes which is a sign of peace. On the day they are to be introduced to the kingdom, Millicent disguises herself as a chef before exposing herself. She takes Shiloh and disappears.

This follows the story of Serenity as she tries to find her sister.All Rights Reserved

The palace condemned the change as a form of ill omen that corrupted the prince, and called forth the land's best healers and physicians. They summoned magicians, warlocks, shamans, and yet, none was able to provide a cure for a curse no one could understand.
