There are two types of people in this world: those who succeed and those who fail miserably. You bet that our friend Maxence is drowning in failure. Maxence is your average smartass French man who attends one of the top schools in France: Sorbonne University but still seems to be struggling in the outside world. His parents refuse to pay for his college tuition which leaves him trying to take on as many jobs. From waiter to chauffer to garbage man, he's done them all. With all that filling his schedule, he has no time to focus on his dream: to be an artist. Nina is taught to believe that everything happens for a reason and whilst she does believe it, that doesn't stop her from complaining about how much she hates her job and how at only 23 and a half, her life has already reached a plateau. She wishes time would fly by faster because she wants nothing more than for this confusing part of her life to end. Meanwhile Niall thinks there's not enough time in a day because there are so many - not particularly good - things happening in his life. He barely has time to meet someone new and when he does make time for it, something embarrassing happens, making him want to give up altogether. Maybe he isn't cut out for life outside of grad school. In which sometimes all you need is the right person to help you overcome the struggles of being an adult.
