I had a dream last night (as in at the time of writing this description) and I've decided to write a book out of a strange dream.
Misumi is an ordinary girl, lucky enough to be living in a world with minimal pollution, the high-end tech of today (2020), and magic. Magic. One of the things children dream about the most. She decides to take a year-long trip to her childhood friends' house and spend some time with them, time that she didn't spend with them due to studies taking up most of her time. When she arrives in late July, everything seems normal enough. Spending most of her day with her beloved quirky family and especially with Robin, a boy with a blatant crush on her.
That's when the killings began.
There may be parts where there will be characters who are owned by other companies, keep in mind that I do not own any of those characters. Also, please don't judge the weirdness, it's heavily based on a dream, after all. I will also be changing a few parts of the story because they just make it more entertaining, so just keep in mind that the story isn't completely a carbon-copy of the dream.

A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Would they even be able to? ~~~ Alrighty, hello there readers! Not sure why you're here, but if you enjoy this story, then you got bad taste, ngl. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. I'm mostly going to go around the main storyline with... slight changes? I just hope I don't make it anymore confusing than it already is. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!! I am Alice Voltaire, a Nekomimi previously working under the security devision of the Mythical Protection Alliance (MPA) (around the December entries was when I start having issues, and December eleventh was when I planned out how to quit my job). The company is currently in undercover war with AWTOK/Hunters. This is serious, as many Mythicals have gotten serious injuries or killed, and innocent humans can be endangered. Even humans can find a place here in this journal, possibly choosing to work to become a Mythical (You will see later on in this book as I progress and grow as a person that I am prepared for war, but was hoping it did not happen). I am also a Neko Shapeshifter (meaning I have a full neko form) and later on in this book, I become a Kitsunemimi/unlock a Kitsunemimi form. Just a dream (I can feel you staring at me)
He still remembers it. The sound of bones breaking. The ringing. The voices. Their voices. His voice. But it shouldn't be possible. He sat in his bed, the darkness of the night making it hard to see at first. Sweat on his face- no whole body made it seem like just a bad dream. It was just that, wasn't it? Just a bad dream. But why was he feeling like he was being watched? Someones, or somethings eyes on his neck. Just waiting for a moment of weakness. Waiting for Finney to let his guard down, just to snap it. Something that only worsens it though, is that the other boys, which he had dreamed about, seem weird, strangely different than before. Or, Finney wakes up in the past with memories of the basement, but is telling himself it was nothing but a bad dream. But, of course, it is not. Because what kind of person am I to just let him and the other grave-boys just forget? Fair warning for this fic, English isn't my first language, so mistakes can/will happen. I opened my door and walked in, relishing the space I had been given, especially since I didn't have a roommate. Setting down my satchel that had all my supplies by my desk, I walked over to my bed and flopped down onto it and let out the most horrendous screeching noise I could into my soft pillow. "Ah, much better!" I said while lifting my head off the poor pillow, which looked slightly traumatized, "Welp, it's time for dinner now I guess, and by dinner I mean crackers or something because I don't feel like going to Commons." I stood up from my bed and stretched, expecting to feel the nice feeling of some of my sore spots cracking, but instead- "ACK- WHAT THE FUCK-" .・゜゜・・゜゜・．» ──────» ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐶ «────── « .・゜゜・・゜゜・． There are descriptions of violence, abuse, trauma, and depression occasionally in this story, along with dark themes. I want to make those scenes as realistic as possible, so if any of the above triggers you, think of maybe reading another one of my One Piece stories. If not, then prepare for the long ass ride that is this book!
The Drafted Reality and Dreams
It was a dark cold night-the night where the birds lay dead on the cold ground, listening in to the deceased whispers. This is the night where blood was once spilled. Jeremy hid behind a tree, holding on his thigh-his thigh was bleeding as he got stabbed. Jeremy looked at his wound, cursing under his breath. Jeremy looked around to see if anyone was nearby, there wasn't anyone nearby but he could hear the screaming of his pals. He could do nothing but to weep, he got out of his hiding spot and went deeper into the woods. He was wincing in pain as he dragged his injured leg. It was dark, too dark to the point even the moonlight couldn't provide light. Jeremy tripped over a tree root, he winced in pain, squeezing his injured thigh in pain. He soon heard a twig being snapped close to him. He pulled himself together, getting back on his feet. Dragging his leg once more. This time he raised the pace, panicking as he knew that he was being followed. He soon came across an abandoned truck that was in a small field. He smiled in relief, getting inside of the truck. He heard movement from his right, seeing a silhouette of a being that was coming closer to him. He panicked, climbing to the other seat to close the door. Once the door was closed, he locked the doors-backing away after. The door handle was being pulled aggressively but soon stopped. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around his thigh, he winced in pain as he made it tight. He looked around the truck, trying not to move too much. He eventually found a pen and a piece of paper.
