This story is set in 1920s France. It is a backstory book for one of my original characters from When Calls the Heart, but I hope to be able to convert it into my own story!
Naomi Benoit is a twelve year old girl from Marseille France. Before the Great War she had a good life. A loving father and mother, a place to call home. But, everything changed when her father had died in the Great War after being moved up front. From there, Naomi's life has been a downhill ride.
When she was fourteen, two years after what happened in the town she stayed in, she was adopted by a couple named Elizabeth and Jack/Wynn Thornton and is moved to Hope Valley that is in Canada. How will she adjust? How will she handle being in a country other than France? You have to read it to find out!
Note: that I do not own When Calls The Heart. I only own like four original characters that I will be using in a original story that I will write in the future!
