"I wonder if she's strong enough to survive this as well." The nurse nodded quietly. "She'll do anything for Thomas. She always did." "That's right. The chances are really low but we have to do this." THIS STORY CONTAINS SPOILERS - So after Teresa was crushed and left to die I was really disappointed. To me, Thomas has become so selfish and I quite don't like him as a character after all that. And let's not talk about that page on the book where Newt's existence is blown off! What if?
What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...) Never Leave - Newtmas
So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood.
