Camp has officially ended, and all the kids are finally meeting up with parents to return to their cozy, air-conditioned homes...all except one. When Gwen and David find Max still sitting, waiting for someone - anyone - to take him back home, they realize a new door has opened for them that neither of them expected to face for a long, long time. (TW: Angst with a happy ending, abandonment and very, VERY mild description of neglect)

David is absent from Camp Campbell for the week due to personal reasons, leaving Gwen as the only counselor to look after the kids. Things take a turn for the worst when something happens to Max during a rock climbing activity. I'm a new Camp Camp fan, with different opinions compared to a chunk of the fandom. But if there's one thing I do agree with in the fandom (at least with most people who have a brain), it's that ANY shipping of a child and adult is fucking gross and whoever ships MaxGwen\Maxvid or whatever deserves a fate worse than death.Complete
